Jurate works within our climate programme, primarily focusing on delivery and development of climate-related services including biofuel, carbon footprint and biomaterials services. She is currently aiming for the Forest Stewardship CouncilTM (FSCTM) Chain of Custody and Sustainable Biomass Program (SBP) Lead Auditor qualifications.
Working in the field of sustainability motivates me a lot, since it offers the opportunity to be part of meaningful solutions that can positively impact the environment and make a lasting difference for our planet's health.
Jūratė has long-term experience in the biomass industry and is well-acknowledged with biomass production and trading processes. While being responsible for biomass sustainability, she gained experience in FSC Chain of Custody and SBP certification systems and worked as a consultant in the fields.
Jūratė joined Preferred by Nature in 2023, and her overall function in this position is to deliver and develop Preferred by Nature services connected to climate, especially in the field of biomass, biomaterials and carbon footprint, with a focus on various schemes, including SBP, Carbon Footprint Management, Climate Neutral Group (CNG), and the Roundtable on Sustainable Biomaterials (RSB).
