On 6 December 2022, the EU reached agreement on a new law to prevent companies from placing commodities linked to deforestation and forest degradation onto the EU market, or exporting them from the EU. The law has included seven basic commodities within the scope of the EU regulation: cocoa, palm oil, wood, coffee, soy, cattle, and rubber. It also covers various derived products such as leather, chocolate, charcoal, furniture and paper.
Are you aware of the new EU Deforestation Regulation and if it applies to you? Need to understand the requirements and what they mean in practice? Join us in this upcoming seminar, where our experts will be breaking it down for you!
At this event, our experts will introduce the regulation and dive into the key elements and requirements of the EUDR.
