Peter Feilberg is NEPCon’s Chief Executive Officer and provides extensive leadership to the organization by providing visions and strategies for organizational development.
Peter is also a very experienced certification lead auditor. Through his participation in more than 70 Forest Management and 150 Chain of Custody certification evaluations, Peter has developed a unique experience base and capacity within application of certification standards. He has performed forest management assessments covering an area of well over 6 million hectares. He is also the official reviewer of 500 + certification audit reports.
Peter Feilberg has taken active part in the global development of forest certification since 1996, partly as member of international FSC standard working groups. Furthermore, Peter is the official designated FSC-delegate of NEPCon, which is an institutional member of FSC. He has also been involved in the development of national or regional forest certification standards in several countries. In addition, he is well experienced as a manager, technical advisor and monitor of international projects.
Peter holds an MSc in forestry and has passed comprehensive post-educational training within FSC, ISO and PEFC certifiation. He has working experience from more than 30 countries.
Coming from a position in Danish forestry, Peter joined NEPCon in 1994, the year of NEPCon’s foundation. |
