Peter Sørensen is Chief Operational Officer (COO) in charge of the overall development of NEPCon's business activities in Western Europe, including set-up and coordination among NEPCon's business units in the region.
He is also responsible for overseeing the development of NEPCon's climate services program, which covers carbon footprinting and verification of carbon forestry projects under well-recognized voluntary schemes.
Peter has comprehensive managerial experience based on 20 years of work within sustainable land use and nature protection. He has experience with business development as well as management and execution of international projects; and he worked for more than 10 years as head of departments in Danish public institutions, including the County of Northern Jutland and the Danish Ministry of Environment.
Based in Denmark, Peter is a co-founder of NEPCon. He returned to the organization in January 2011.
