Gertrud Kümmel Birk is appointed as coordinator of NEPCon’s climate program. Her primary task is to assist in the development of this program and coordinate various activities under the program.
Gertrud has facilitated the establishment of a national FSC office in Mozambique in the framework of a project run by FSC-Denmark. She has also worked at the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs with economic development and environmental challenges in Africa.
Educational background within geography. Her Master's thesis focused on illegal logging.
