Find public summaries of FSC forest management certification reports

In order to ensure transparency of the FSC system, FSC requires that summaries of all forest management assessment and audit reports are made publicly available.

Previously these reports were available at the individual Certification Bodies' websites. But since 2009, the reports are made available at the central FSC Database http://info.fsc.org.

How do I find FSC reports prepared by NEPCon?

Public summaries of FSC forest management reports based on assesments and audits carried out by NEPCon since 2008 are available at the FSC Database http://info.fsc.org/.

Using this database, you can find certification related information about  a certified operation either by entering the name of the operation in the field "certificate code" or by entering the certificate registration code of the operation in the field "FSC code". You can also use the country scroll-down menu to search for all forest management certificates issued in a country.

When the system has found the operation in question, you can click its name under 'records found'. Then you get a pop-up window with further information organized under three tabs: 'General data' , 'product data' and 'reports'. The public summaries are found under the tab 'reports'.

Reports older than 2008 can be found at our FSC-accedited partner Rainforest Alliance's website:
http://www.rainforest-alliance.org/forestry/operation_summaries.cfm.

Thanks, but I still can't find the report I'm looking for?
