FSC Trademark use for certified companies

To achieve the maximum benefit from your certification, you can use the FSC trademarks for labeling of products as well as in company or products promotion.  The FSC trademarks are:
 

1. The FSC logo

2. The words 'Forest Stewardship Council'

3. The abbreviation 'FSC'.


Certified companies need to obtain approval for their use of any of the above-mentioned trademarks from their certification body.

How to use the FSC trademarks

There are many options for using the FSC trademarks to promote your company and your certified products, or to label your products with the prestigious FSC logo.

Certified companies can access and use the FSC's Certificate Holder Portal via http://info.fsc.org/.  The portal enables users to create customized on-product and off-product labels in a fast and easy way.

FSC standards for trademark use

A new standard for FSC trademark use was launched on the 1st of March. All certificate holders may start implementing the new requirements immediately. Compliance with the new rules must be ensured by the 31st of December.
