Verification services
Pathways to certification
NEPCon offers to verify the progress of forest operations and wood industries which aim to become certified, but are still somewhere on the road to certification.
This type of service does not imply certification, and it does not allow the use of certification system trademarks or claims. However, it does provide the company with a third-party documentation which may be forwarded business-to-business or used to facilitate communication with stakeholders.
Typically, the verified organization receives a verification statement which remains valid for one year. The statement is renewed through annual audits. In some cases, additional benefits and support are also provided.
Verification for forest operations
NEPCon can verify the progress and targeted efforts of forest operations which need a longer time to adjust their forest management before they may be certified.
