A basic precondition for running a certified production is to have access to suppliers of certified raw material. Fortunately, there are a few online resources that help you identify suppliers.

Suppliers to the paper and printing sectors need to be covered by a valid FSC or PEFC certificate themselves. This can be verified at the respective certificate databases mentioned below.

Suppliers of FSC-certified material 

You may find suppliers of FSC-certified raw timber, pulp, and paper at the FSC certificate database www.fsc-info.org.

Additonally, paper buyers can find numerous suppliers of FSC-certified paper at www.fsc-paper.org. Note: while this website can be an efficient way to find suppliers, you will still need to check with www.fsc-info.org to verify that your supplier is covered by a valid certificate.

Suppliers of FSC controlled wood material

You may find suppliers of controlled wood (which can be mixed with FSC-certified inputs in an FSC-Mixed production) through www.fsc-info.org. 

Suppliers of PEFC-certified material

You can find suppliers of PEFC-certified raw material - wood chips, pulp or paper - at http://register.pefc.cz/search1.asp.
