FSC training courses in Russia, Bulgaria and Denmark

NEPCon is organizing three FSC auditor training courses this fall. The training provides participants with updated practical knowledge about different aspects of FSC certification requirements and related auditing techniques. Our lecturers are lead FSC auditors and experienced trademark experts.
The training has been developed together with the SmartWood program of the Rainforest Alliance – the world’s largest forest certification program. All three events are open for a limited number of participants.
Contents, time and place
Below is a summary of the three events. In addition to the main training modules specified in the table, all training courses include an introduction and overview of the most recent developments within FSC and provide an insight into auditing techniques. The courses end with an exam. On successful passing FSC auditor certificate is issued, other participants receive a certificate of attendance.

Training course in Bulgaria
This training focuses on forest management auditing and is organized in collaboration with UNDP and WWF in Bulgaria. The deadline for registration is 20 September. FSC National Initiatives and NGOs involved in FSC related work can apply for a special NEPCon grant covering the training fee.

Training course in Denmark
The training will focus on the technical requirements for FSC chain of custody and controlled wood auditing. The course is mainly organized for the purpose of internal training of NEPCon’s auditors, but a few places are available for external participants. This training is particularly relevant for companies who want to build up internal auditor competence.

Training course in Russia
The course is a full auditor training course covering all the main aspects of forest management as well as chain of custody and controlled wood auditing. The deadline for registration is 30 September. FSC National Initiatives and NGOs involved in FSC related work can apply for a special NEPCon grant covering the training fee.
